Eschborn, 7th May 2008 Storage specialist Verbatim has been the market leader in the field of optical storage media for years. High standards of quality are the company's recipe for success a fact that has once again been confirmed by Computer Bild magazine. In issue 9/2008, Computer Bild put regular CD-Rs as well as printable and Lightscribe blanks through their paces, and Verbatim products came top in all three categories. Their excellent burn quality at high write speeds impressed the editors. The blanks storage quality was particularly praised, as was their compatibility with all the burners used in the tests.
This wasnt the only test victory for optical storage media from Verbatim this year. Back in issue 4/2008, Computer Bild put Verbatim DVD+R Double Layer and Verbatim DVD-R Dual Layer in first place and showed that they are capable of fast, long-lasting and outstanding-quality data and video back-ups.
